Classroom and Multimedia Center        Classroom Renovation Robert Crown Center for Health Education Chicago, IL Architect: Griskelis & Smith Architects Ltd. To enhance the effectiveness of their teaching environment, the Robert Crown Center turned to H.B. Barnard Company to re-design one of their main classrooms. The new classroom includes space or exhibits, a puppet show, a multi-media lecture area, and other amenities to educate school children about health related issues. H.B. Barnard Company, under a Design/Build contract, completed the project in 10 weeks over the Summer vacation. Dr. Zerimba, President of the Robert Crown Center said: “We wanted a contractor who could provide us with Design/Build services. We knew the direction we wanted the project to go, and we needed it completed while school was out – which didn’t give us much wiggle room. H.B. Barnard Company came in and finished the project on time and on budget.
